I’m glad you picked that album, which hadn’t even been on my radar screen, even though I held it in my hands as a teenager back in Germany after I had borrowed it from my classmate across the street to tape on music cassette.
While I obviously well remember the great back-to-back tracks “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions,” which received plenty of air time on my go-to radio station, I don’t recall the other songs and, as such, should probably revisit thevalbum.
For the most part, Queen were a band I knew from the radio and a greatest hits compilation I got on vinyl sometime in the early ‘80s.

Oh, I taped from the radio as well – like a maniac!
And I frequently got mad at the DJs when they started to talk while the song was fading out. Eventually, I got into the habit to carefully listen when the radio station would start to fade out a song and would fade it out myself, trying to beat the DJ from starting to blabber! Yes, I was a real nerd!🤣

In addition to carefully labeling each MC, I meticulously documented anything I recorded on MCs in small notebooks. While I still have many MCs languishing in boxes, I think the notebooks are lost for good. I would probably get a good laugh out of them, if I looked at them now!😀
